Vision-AR-IOL works as an IOL simulator based on the type of IOL selected for the patient.
The doctor sets the patient’s parameters, and using the iPad CAMERA, they can view the surrounding environment through the selected IOL type.
This helps the doctor demonstrate to the patient how their vision will be improved with the new IOL.
The IOL Simulator provides patients with a glimpse of their post-cataract surgery vision and aids in explaining the benefits of different IOL options, allowing patients to choose the best IOL suited to their needs.
Additionally, it helps patients understand the potential decline in vision if they opt not to undergo the surgery.
